Four decades of devotion, community and service.
From a modest gathering in 1985 to one of the region’s most respected mandals, our journey has always been about people.
A brief history.
Om Mitra Mandal was born on a quiet monsoon evening in 1985, when a small group of neighbours came together with a shared dream — to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with dignity, culture and unity.
Over the decades, we’ve grown into a family of hundreds. What began as a ten-day festival is now a year-long calendar of cultural, spiritual and social initiatives — rooted in the same values that inspired our founders.
We believe that faith is best expressed through action. Every event we host, every idol we install, every program we run is an opportunity to bring people closer, celebrate our heritage, and give back to the community that has always given us so much.
“A community bound by devotion, respect, and togetherness.”
“To preserve our traditions while inspiring compassion, collaboration, and meaningful social impact.”
